Who can apply?
Students:
– Full-time (local or international) undergraduate or graduate students from any Armenian higher education institution
Researchers:
– Researchers that are employed full-time at any Armenian university
Can I apply for more than one scholarship?
No.
What is a Request for Proposal (RFP)?
A request for proposal (RFP) is a notice that provides potential applicants with detailed information on purpose, focus areas, expected results and instructions on how to apply.
Where can I get a copy of an RFP and the application forms necessary to apply for a funding opportunity?

What are direct costs?
Direct costs are those costs that are utilized to rent accommodations/space, equipment, transportation, office supply, communication, printing, and equipment.
Whom can I involve in the team?
If you apply for research category, you can apply either alone or with a team. However, you are encouraged to apply with a team which includes students.
What format is requested for the submission of proposals?
Proposals should be submitted in PDF format as an attachment to the application.
When do I need to submit my application?
Please see https://msrf.aua.am for deadlines for all RFPs.
Who should present a Recommendations letter.
All students applying for a grant must present a Recommendation letter from their respective academic department.
What does NOT MSRF cover?
MSRF does NOT provide funds to participate in international conferences; to buy equipment, to cover tuition fee. Please refer to MSRF criteria at: https://msrf.aua.am/how-to-apply/
What is the maximum amount allocated for a given grant?
There is no limit for a given project’s funding. Grants are awarded on the basis of a competitive selection process that ranks applicants according to their research value/methodology/price as well as relevant professional experience. In certain cases, Request for Proposal may specify the upper limit for the funding of a given project.
